(September 12, 2026 - June 27, 2027)
2027-2028
(September 11, 2027 - June 25, 2028)
2028-2029
(September 09, 2028 - June 24, 2029)
For the year 26/27 the costs are €679 per month.
This includes all costs for accommodation, full board, laundry, lessons, assignments, travel to the internship sites, as well as Wifi.
We will continue to strive to keep our prices fair so that as many people as possible can afford an orientation year. Only for missionary assignments abroad will there be additional costs (flights, etc.). The registration fee is a one-time €49.
Since we work closely with the employment agency (AfA) and your time with us is for orientation and finding your professional future, the answer is usually yes . However, the final decision is not made by the orientation year itself, but by your local family benefits office. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
We love the mix and look forward to young people between the ages of 17 and 23 who are looking for the right job and are interested in getting to know themselves and God better.
With our program, we deliberately chose a holistic approach. This means that the 40 weeks are not only coordinated with each other, but also aim to develop you personally, professionally and spiritually.
The Ojahr is characterized above all by its variety. We alternate between internships (of 3 weeks each), Bible school blocks, and assignments both at home and abroad. This makes your orientation year both varied and exciting. A typical week of classes usually looks like this.
There are young people who, for various reasons, could never afford the Orientierungsjahr. In such special cases, funding opportunities can be requested from us personally at fonds(at)ojahr.de.
Naturally.
We look forward to hearing from you by phone or email. Simply call us at 0711-839878-30 or send an email to info@orientierungsjahr.de
We also hold applicant information days in the fall and spring, where you can get a no-obligation look at the Ojahr program! Get in touch, we look forward to hearing from you! :)
The Orientierungsjahr is in Korntal and borders to Stuttgart. The S-Bahn takes you to the state capital in just under 15 minutes and to Stuttgart Airport in 40 minutes.
All course participants live in our two houses. Click here to take a look at our facility.
Our lessons and all interactions take place in German.
Therefore, we recommend applying only if you speak/understand some German.
For people from abroad, we recommend that they have at least a B1 level of German.
